Our own quarries in Minya

Raya Stone quarries its own Sunny Menia and White Silvia marble in Minya, Upper Egypt. Owning the quarry means we control block selection, colour consistency and supply — and that we can sell raw blocks as well as finished material.

What we quarry

Two of Egypt’s best-known beige and cream marbles come out of our Minya quarries: Sunny Menia, a warm, even beige with fine veining, and White Silvia, a light cream with soft, wavy veining. Both are quarried, sawn and finished by us — the same company from the mountain to the container.

Sunny Menia White Silvia

Raw blocks direct from the quarry

We supply Minya blocks to fabricators and importers who saw and finish stone themselves. Sunny Menia and White Silvia are both available as raw quarry blocks, loaded into containers. Block dimensions depend on current quarry output, so tell us the volume and grade you need and we will quote against what is actually on the ground.

Why quarry ownership matters to you

When a supplier buys blocks on the open market, colour and quality shift from order to order. Because we select from our own working faces, we can hold a consistent selection across repeat orders and keep supply running for long projects. It also means fewer parties between you and the stone: you deal with the company that owns the quarry, saws the block and packs the container.
